In the last two verses, however, a better translation of the Greek term is “shrine” rather than “temple.” Therefore, there may not be a man-made temple at all. In fact, sacrifice and offering can occur without a temple (Ezra 3:1-6).
Hoping for another temple, though, The Temple Institute has made preparations for one in Jerusalem. Numerous implements, to be used in sacrifice and offering rituals, are at the institute, awaiting use.
