Blurred Photos

Assuming you have AOL version 4.0 or above, click on My AOL on your AOL tool bar, then click on Preferences.  In that window, click on the WWW button, which will cause a new window, “Internet Options,” to appear.  In this window, click on the tab “Web Graphics.”  The box labeled Use compressed graphics probably will be checked.  Uncheck this box; then click on OK at the bottom.  By doing this, uncompressed (clearer and more distinct) Web graphics will appear on your browser.  At the same time, this will cause Web graphics to appear somewhat more slowly.  If you want for these graphics to appear more quickly (though not as clear and distinct), you will need to go back and re-check the Use compressed graphics box again.
